Food Drives

One of the biggest issues our community faces is an increase in cost of living. Inflation and other economic factors are making it very difficult for Lower Mainland residents to afford daily essentials such as food. With an increasing number of families falling below the poverty line, there is a greater need for food banks. Therefore Youth Rising has held multiple food drives for the Surrey Food Bank to help keep our local food banks stocked for families in need.
